Holy Hip Hop Foundation responds to Darfur crisis (06.10.08)

US Christian rappers, producers and holy hip-hop artists have joined forces and produced an album to bring aid to Darfur in Africa.

The ‘Save Darfur Now Compilation Vol 1’ features artists such as Propaganda (of TRz), Sivion (of DeepSpace5), AppleJaxx (of Nureau Ink), David 2.0 (of Nureau Ink), Sojourn (of Future Shock) and Atom The Immortal (of Secta 7).

Uniting under a banner of Social Justice, the team has made it their responsibility to help bring an end to ongoing atrocities such as genocide, slave trafficking, civil rights violations taking place in Darfur.

“Just remember that every little bit helps, and as Christians we are mandated to care for those that are less fortunate, and as God’s Children these are our brothers and sisters hurting,” explained the Foundation. “Let’s do what we can to bring them some pain medicine.”

All proceeds from CD sales will go to the Save Darfur campaign.
