Ground level

New UK project to help aspiring Christian artists  (29.09.08)

A group of Gospel music veterans in the UK have set up a project to help new Christian artists get a leg up in the music business.

Ground Level is a forum for Christian artists to network and learn the tricks of the trade from some of Britain's successful Gospel artists. GreenJade's Wizdom, Noel Robinson and Jahaziel, the founders of the network, felt led to impart the knowledge they have gained as established artists to up and coming talent.

Some of the key aims of the project include sempowering, educating, informing and uplifting the new generation of Christian Hip-Hop, Grime and Urban artists. It is hoped that the project's name will provide the foundation needed to build the industry from ground level up.

The project forum will be launched at an event on Saturday 8 November 2008 and the second Saturday of the month there after until Dec 09.
