Bishop Weeks searches internet for new bride (23.09.08)

The ex-husband of US televangelist Juanita Bynum is on the hunt for a new wife on the internet.

Bishop Thomas Weeks III, famed for divorcing Bynum and running a church in Atlanta (US), has taken his wife-hunting search to the world wide web by posting videos about dating tips and what he's looking for in a mate.

The 10-episode series will be available on his website with a number of clips showing Weeks discussing with aides what he should look for in his third wife.

The group suggests that the woman should be at least 25 -years-old but "with special exemptions for 21 and up if they are classy," Weeks said. The bishop also suggests that she must  want to have children with him.

"This woman has to be very discerning, and very intimate, and very social and very sensual," Weeks says, laughing. "And on the ministry side she has to be very diverse. She can't be ugly."

Bynum, Week's ex-wife, filed for divorce after the couple had a 2007 fight in an Atlanta hotel parking lot that landed Weeks in jail on charges that he pushed, choked and beat Bynum.

He pleaded guilty to assaulting her, is serving three years' probation and has completed court-ordered community service and anger management counselling.

B, he's on probation (which means the jail sentance is suspended unless he re-offends) plus doing community service & anger management.

I just find it totally baffling how a Bishop can be making a show to find a wife... and the things he's quoted on saying, well bwoy...! Why are Christ-people taking thwir queues from z-list celebs desperate for money & attention?! All painful watching, trust.

I wonder what they're gonna call it? Maybe "WWW" (Wanted:Wife for Weeks) or maybe "BBB" (Be Bishop's Babe)
Lol...

[sorry Lord, couldn't resist!]
